PF Redspore

Origin and Info: The PF Redspore strain, a mutation of the 1990s PF Classic strain, is known for its distinctive red-colored spores. Developed by mycologist Robert McPherson, this strain emerged in 1996 and survived a DEA raid in 2003. PF Redspore shares the same potency as PF Classic, with tryptamine levels ranging from 0.50% to 0.90%. It thrives in bovine and equine dung and prefers subtropical climates. The strain features a cap measuring 50-75+ mm, a bulbous stem up to 150 mm, brown gills, and reddish-brown spores. Its unique spore coloration sets it apart from other strains.

This strain has several genetic variants, including PF Classic, PF Albino, Colombian Rust, Penis Envy Uncut Redspore, Golden Halo, and Jack Frost, all sharing similar growth characteristics and potency. PF Redspore thrives in bovine and equine dung, preferring subtropical climates.

Potency: PF Redspore shares the same potency as PF Classic, with total tryptamine levels typically ranging from 0.50% to 0.90%. Although not yet submitted to the Psilocybin Cup, a PF Classic sample in the 2022 Spring Cup produced 0.60% psilocybin and 0.09% psilocin.
